Girls Go Tech推出全新的Career in STEM活動系列，讓參加者對與STEM 相關的行業及大學選科有更多了解，從而規劃自己的未來！第二場Career in STEM 活動為｢數據管理的迷思｣，活動詳情如下：
從用關鍵字在網絡搜尋姜濤，到設計疫苗對抗變種新冠病毒，都在展示數據管理的重要角色。是次視像講座，我們邀請了兩位女生，包括由遺傳學家轉為生物數據及軟件產品經理的 Amy Tang，分享怎樣才算管理好數據，及她在學術界和商界的發展歷程。 而在香港科技大學就讀計算機工程二年級的 Lauren Chan，則會分享她在中學階段已對科技產生的興趣，以及計算機工程與計算機科學的分別。

時間: 下午5:00 至 6:00
參加者出席講座後，完成簡單問題及分享意見，即可獲取獎賞分數。
*凡出席所有Career in STEM活動(共三場)的參加者，有機會得到 Logitech 無線鍵盤一個。*
Girls Go Tech has launched a new ‘Career in STEM' series in which participants can learn about different STEM-related industries to inform their decisions around university subject choices and career planning.
The second session in the ‘Career in STEM’ series is taking place on Friday May 28: Making BioData FAIR.
From using the right key words to Google Keung To, to redesigning Covid vaccines in the emergence of new virus variants, data management plays a key role. In this webinar, Amy Tang, a geneticist who became a product manager for biodata and software, will speak on the importance and essence of data management, and her career path in both the academic and commercial worlds. We've also invited Lauren Chan, a 2nd year university student studying computer engineering, who will also share on her interest in technology since secondary school life, and the difference between computer science and computer engineering.

Participants will earn reward points by attending the webinar, completing simple questions and providing feedback.
