Time for another in-person activity! Co-organised with Cognizant, this workshop will teach participants how to use MIT App Inventor. Participants can learn to programme mobile applications by moving components of the visual blocks language and learn computational thinking concepts.  

Thanks to the kind generosity of Cognizant, participants who sucessfully complete the workshop will get to keep the pre-owned laptop utilised in the workshop, to support participants’ continued learning.

This virtual workshop will help build your skills. We'll work with you to write a CV that shows your strengths, and uses your STEM skill to stand you out of the crowd. You'll be able to participate in mock interviews and get constructive feedback from experienced professionals.

The Girls Go Tech Programme’s inter-school event, Discover STEM for Your Future, is back! Through corporate volunteers’ sharing, learn about the utilisation of STEM across many different industries to better prepare yourself for your future! After last year’s event, many participants have shared that they benefitted greatly from the sharing!

This year’s event involves a Human Bingo session and a STEM workshop. In a fun and relaxed environment, move around the auditorium to ask volunteers about their job role and experiences to learn about possible careers for your future. Successfully complete your Bingo card to win a prize! In the STEM workshop, learn about the uses of blockchain technology and have the chance to create your own crypto wallet!
